At Voshall Gym, Pittsfield, Ill.

Pittsfield 56, Western 34: TJ Reel hit a pair of 3-pointers in the second quarter to spark a Saukees’ run that carried them to the Pike County victory. Trailing 13-11 at the end of the first quarter, Pittsfield outscored Western 17-3 in the second quarter to take control. Reel finished with 20 points and Nate Scranton added 14. Mason Smith scored 11 points in the first quarter for the Wildcats and finished with 17.

At Macomb, Ill.

Macomb 46, Central 44: The Panthers’ Nick Moore and Isaac Genenbacher sparked a fourth-quarter rally, but the Bombers’ Connor Watson drilled a 3-pointer in the closing seconds and Jack Duncan intercepted the ensuing inbounds pass to put a stamp on the victory. Macomb led 38-29 before Moore and Genenbacher combined for 15 fourth-quarter points. Genenbacher led the Panthers with 19 points, and Moore finished with 14. Watson led the Bombers with 16 points.

At Carthage, Ill.

Illini West 60, Bushnell-Prairie City 45: After allowing 18 points in the second quarter to fall behind by three at halftime, the Chargers changed the tone of the game with a 13-3 third-quarter run and put the game away with a 23-point fourth quarter. Nolan Deitrich scored 11 of his 13 points in the fourth quarter for Illini West, while Max Richardson led the Chargers with 16 points.

At Marshall, Mo.

Hannibal 59, Marshall 51: The Pirates didn’t make a field goal in the fourth quarter, but they went 11 of 19 from the free-throw line to lock down a North Central Missouri Conference victory. Aaris Stolte finished with 29 points, including six 3-pointers, for Hannibal.

Men’s basketball

At Kehl Center, Dubuque, Iowa

Clarke 85, Culver-Stockton College 65: The Pride buried the Wildcats with an explosive first half, shooting 62.9 percent from the field and making 6 of 12 3-pointers to secure a 52-30 lead. The Wildcats shot just 38.2 percent in the first half. Alonzo Ortiz-Traylor led the Wildcats with 22 points, and Jalen Blaize added 12. C-SC fell to 14-12 overall and 5-12 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

Women’s basketball

At Kehl Center, Dubuque, Iowa

Clarke 61, Culver-Stockton College 45: The Wildcats shot 24.6 percent from the field and 16.7 percent from 3-point range in dropping the Heart of America Athletic Conference matchup to the 14th-ranked Pride. Addison Newbon led the Wildcats with 16 points and nine rebounds. C-SC fell to 13-13 and 7-10 in the Heart.

Men’s volleyball

At Charles Field House, Canton, Mo.

Grand View d. Culver-Stockton College: The No. 1-ranked Vikings rolled to a three-set sweep, winning 25-23, 25-17, 25-17. Akeel Oxley led the Wildcats with 12 kills.
