At Jacksonville, Ill.

Chatham Glenwood 3, Quincy High School 0: The Titans scored three second-half goals to win the non-conference game at Illinois College. A ball bouncing off the far post ricocheted directly to Glenwood attacker, leading to the first goal with 25 minutes remaining. The Titans scored all three goals in a 10-minute span. QHS goalkeeper Taylor Fohey made 11 saves.

At Perry, Ill.

Brown County 13, Griggsville-Perry 0: The Hornets’ Mason Henry tossed a five-inning no-hitter, benefitting from a five-run outburst in the top of the first inning and didn’t allow the Tornadoes to get a runner past first base after the first inning. Henry struck out nine and walked two.The Hornets’ Sam Carr went 2 for 2 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs. Hayden Weise went 1 for 3 with two runs scored and three RBIs. The Hornets are 14-1 overall.

At Aledo, Ill.

Illini West 11, Mercer County 4: The Chargers trailed 4-2 going to the fifth inning, but they scored four times in the fifth and five times in the sixth. Drew Dooley went 2 for 5 with a home run and three RBIs for the Chargers, while allowing two earned runs and four hits over five innings with seven strikeouts to earn the victory. Bradyn Robertson went 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Ethan James and Trayton Anders both homered.

At Hamilton, Ill.

West Hancock 13, Havana 3: The Titans scored five times in the first inning and finished off the Ducks in six innings. Bryan Gerhardt went 3 for 4 with a double, three runs scored and three RBIs for the Titans, while Colin LeMaire was 3 for 3 with four RBIs. Luke Jacquot finished 2 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Alec Hymes struck out five and allowed seven hits over four innings to earn the victory.

At Rushville, Ill.

Rushville-Industry 3, Liberty 1: The Eagles’ Aaron Lease allowed only two earned runs and four hits over six innings, but the Rockets’ Tanner Spencer struck out 11 and allowed one earned run to post the victory. Logan Robbins had a double for Liberty, and Lease drove in the Eagles’ lone run.

At Camp Point, Ill.

Central 13, Rushville-Industry 3: Libby Ippensen went 3 for 4 with a double, two runs scored and four RBIs as the Panthers posted the five-inning victory. Carlie Goehl went 2 for 3 as the Panthers pounded out 11 hits. Natalie Eicken struck out four and allowed three runs and four hits to earn the victory.

Boys tennis

At Greeman Tennis Center, Quincy

Quincy High School 9, Hannibal 0: The Blue Devils’ Jason Derian scored a 10-0 victory over the Pirates’ Garrett Heaton at No. 5 singles and he teamed up with Anderson Knapp for a 10-0 victory over Hannibal’s Parker Terrill and Jacdo Hickman at No. 2 doubles to highlight the sweep. Quincy lost no more than four games in any set.
