Schuck on a Truck Zoom Edition: Marquee Sports Network digital reporter Andy Martinez discusses Riley Martin’s chances, Cubs bullpen
QUINCY — Andy Martinez has gone from a cub reporter as a student at Quincy University to a Cubs reporter producing digital content for the Marquee Sports Network.
The Chicago native is a 2015 graduate of QU who returned to the Windy City after a stint working at the Quincy Herald-Whig. He landed a job with the Marquee Sports Network, a regional network dedicated to television and online coverage of the Chicago Cubs. He is a co-host of the Cubs Weekly Podcast as writes digital content.
Martinez is currently in Mesa, Ariz., covering the Cubs’ spring training, but he took time away from his coverage responsibilities to join Muddy River Sports Editor Matt Schuckman via Zoom for an episode of “Schuck on a Truck,” brought to you by Shottenkirk Toyota.
