Schuck on a Truck: QND girls basketball team celebrates its Class 2A third-place state finish

QUINCY — With spring break taking place on the backend of the Quincy Notre Dame girls basketball team’s third-place finish at the Class 2A state tournament, the Raiders had to wait an extra week for their fire truck ride and welcome home celebration.

The time lapse gave the Raiders time to appreciate all they had accomplished over a two-year span with 65 victories and two state trophies.

The Raiders joined Muddy River Sports Editor Matt Schuckman on the tailgate of his pickup truck to discuss the season, the impact of QND coach Eric Orne and bringing home another trophy for this episode of “Schuck on a Truck,” brought to you by Area Distributors.
