Schuck on a Truck: QHS wrestlers discuss Quincy Invitational

QUINCY — Owen Uppinghouse, Bryor Newbold and the Quincy High School wrestlers have spent most of their season flatbacking opponents. Coming off a victory in the 29-team Murdale Invitational last weekend in Carbondale, Ill., the Blue Devils get the chance to showcase their depth and talent in front of a home crowd at the Quincy Invitational.

The 16-team event takes place beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at the QHS gym.

Leading up to the event, Uppinghouse and Newbold — juniors wrestling at 160 and 182 pounds, respectively — joined Muddy River Sports Editor Matt Schuckman on the tailgate of his pickup for an episode of “Schuck on a Truck,” brought to you by Area Distributors.
