Schuck on a Truck: Event organizer Eric Stratman discusses fifth Quincy Shootout

QUINCY — The dip in temperatures and rainy weather forced “Schuck on a Truck” to become “Schuck in the Stands” this week, but it’s appropriate since the stands at Blue Devil Gym this weekend should be filled with basketball junkies and passionate fans.

The fifth Quincy Shootout brings a nationally respected field to the Gem City with the No. 1-ranked team in Link Academy among the teams participating in the 17-game affair. A vast number of high level recruits, many of whom are ranked among the top 150 prospects nationally in the respective graduating class, dot the rosters as well.

Eric Stratman, the event organizer and the one who lines up the star-studded field, sat down with Muddy River Sports Editor Matt Schuckman to discuss this year’s Shootout for this week’s episode of “Schuck on a Truck,” brought to you by Area Distributors.
