EWING, Mo. — The Highland softball team heads into the postseason as the No. 1-ranked team in Class 2, riding an 18-game win streak and backed by a record-setting offensive attack.
The Cougars’ captains — Emma Harshberger, Olivia Ritterbusch and Haleigh Winter — joined Highland coach Paul Scifres on the tailgate of Muddy River Sports Editor Matt Schuckman’s pickup to discuss the No. 1 ranking, their home run prowess and their pursuit of a state tournament berth for this episode of “Schuck on a Truck,” brought to you by Shottenkirk Toyota.
