QUINCY — The Quincy Family YMCA invites area golfers to hit the links “FORE the Kids” on Friday, June 13, at Westview Golf Course, 2150 S. 36th. The four-person scramble, presented by Homeology Design Company by Amy Schmiedeskamp, raises funds for youth programs and summer-camp scholarships.

Teams can secure their spot for $400 (covers green fees, cart, lunch and on-course contests). Check-in opens at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun tee time at noon. Early registration is encouraged at quincyymca.net/register.

Kristen Lay, marketing and development director with the Quincy Family YMCA, said in a press release, “Every drive, chip and putt helps a child right here in our community access life-changing Y programs. Last year’s scramble funded after-school care and camp experiences for more than 100 local kids. We’re aiming even higher in 2025.”

Sponsorships and on-course prize donations are still available. For details, contact Michale Cody at michaelc@quincyymca.net.
