QUINCY — It took a little from everyone to hold the rope.

After surrendering three goals in the game’s first 22 minutes, the Quincy High School girls soccer team’s defense stonewalled Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge the final 58 minutes. Two goals in the final three minutes of the first half by Taylor Routh turned the tide for the Blue Devils, and Bri Lannerd’s rebound goal gave Quincy a 3-3 tie Monday night at Flinn Stadium.

The Blue Devils are 8-0-3 heading to Geneseo on Tuesday for a Western Big 6 Conference clash with title implications.
