CAMP POINT, Ill. — The final week of the regular season is mirroring the rest of the spring — windy, rainy and unpredictable. Thursday’s game between the Mendon Unity and Camp Point Central baseball teams saw sunny skies turn to dark clouds, wind kick up and a steady rain that halted play in the top of the sixth inning.

That came on the heels of the Mustangs scoring four times in the fifth inning to secure a 6-2 victory. The two teams could meet again next week in the semifinals of the Class 1A Liberty Regional, but the Panthers will need to beat Liberty on Monday to set up the rematch.
