QUINCY — The John Wood Community College women’s basketball team had one of its worst offensive performances of the season in a 61-45 loss Saturday afternoon to Danville Area Community College. The Trail Blazers missed 38 of 49 field goal tries over the final three quarters and shot just 25.4 percent overall in losing their third consecutive game to fall to 9-10. They were particularly woeful from beyond the 3-point stripe, making just 5 of 34 attempts against the Jaguars’ 2-3 zone.

MRN Editor David Adam captured some of the images from the game.
