QUINCY — It started with a Jake Zebig home run, featured a bases-clearing triple from Otto Jones and ended with nearly every player in the Quincy Gems’ lineup getting a hit during Thursday’s 18-12 victory over the Chillicothe Paints in the first game of the Prospect League championship series.

The Gems collected 13 hits, jacked three home runs and now are one victory away from a crown.
