River Country Swim League tryouts to be held June 2 at Hannibal Aquatic Center
HANNIBAL, Mo. — Another tryout for the new River Country Swim League has been scheduled at the Hannibal Aquatic Center because of problems at the Hannibal YMCA pool.
The new tryout has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 2, at the Ronny Ferrel Hannibal Aquatic Center. Coach Marie Allen asks each participant to bring a swimsuit, goggles and a towel.
The Ronny Ferrel Hannibal Aquatic Center and YMCA of Hannibal are collaborating to host a recreational league that will last eight weeks, June 2 through July 28.
The swim team will practice 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Ronny Ferrel Hannibal Aquatic Center. Several swim meets will be held, typically at night, at the Hannibal YMCA or other locations. There is a one-time fee of $150 to join the team.
