The season for the Pittsfield girls basketball team ended Friday night with a 56-39 loss to Hillsboro. The Hilltoppers (20-11) advance to the sectional at Pleasant Plains and will meet No. 1-ranked Quincy Notre Dame (31-1), the defending Class 2A state champions, at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the semifinals. Pittsfield finishes with an 18-14 record. MRN Editor David Adam captured some images from the game.
