BARRY, Ill. — The Liberty softball team scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to pull away from Griggsville-Perry to win Tuesday’s Class 1A Barry Western Regional semifinal game 14-7. The Eagles (22-5) will play for the regional championship on Friday against the winner between No. 3 seed Pleasant Hill and fifth-seeded Western, who play on Wednesday.
