Peterson’s RBI single in bottom of seventh allows Central to walk off with 5-4 victory over Unity

Caleb Peterson delivered a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to give the Central baseball team a 5-4 victory over Unity on Friday night.

Unity trailed 4-1 entering the sixth but tied the score with two runs in the sixth and a run in the top of the seventh. 

Colin Likes was the winning pitcher for Central, allowing seven hits and walking three in tossing a complete game.

Briggs Wiskirchen had three hits for the Panthers, who snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 4-6. Luke Huston and Garrett Neisen each had two hits for Central. Skylor Goudschaal had three hits for the Mustangs (6-4), whose two-game winning streak ended.
