Frese, Tracy congratulate Central football championship team during Illinois State Capitol visit

SPRINGFIELD – The Camp Point Central football team was congratulated by State Sen. Jil Tracy (R-Quincy) and State Rep. Randy Frese (R-Paloma) during its trip to the Illinois State Capitol on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
The Panthers captured the Illinois High School Association Class 1A state football championship and had an undefeated season. The team made the trip to Springfield on Wednesday as part of the celebration of its title game victory over Lena-Winslow on Nov. 24, 2023, at Hancock Stadium in Normal.
