Brown County d. West Hancock: The Hornets rebounded from losing the second set to post a 25-19, 23-25, 25-13 victory. Katey Flynn had 18 kills and 12 digs for the Hornets, while Klare Flynn had 11 kills, Gabby McGath finished with 33 assists and Kaci McKeon had 20 digs. Brown County is 24-3.
Prep Softball
At St. Charles, Mo.
Class 4 District 4: Fifth-seeded Hannibal saw its season end with a 10-0 loss to top-seeded Warrenton. The Pirates were held to just two hits — singles by Alana Pfeifer and Emilee Wilson. Warrenton had 11 hits, including four for extra bases. Hannibal finishes with a 5-20 record.
