At Ferd Niemann Jr. Memorial Ballfield, Quincy

Quincy Notre Dame 6, Hannibal 2: A change in venue didn’t slow the Raiders. Field conditions forced the game, which was to played at the Pirates’ Veterans Field, to be moved to the Illinois side of the river and Hannibal took advantage by scoring twice in the top of the first with Tanner Van Winkle delivering a two-run single. QND answered with four runs in the bottom of the second as Jack Linenfelser and Tucker Tollerton had back-to-back RBI singles and Dalton Miller delivered a two-out, two-run single. The Raiders tacked on two more runs in the third. Jake Schisler and Tollerton each had two hits for QND, while Schisler struck out six and allowed three hits over six innings. Miller worked a spotless seventh for the save. QND is 7-0.

At Mount Sterling, Ill.

Brown Count 15, Rushville-Industry 0: Sam Carr threw three hitless innings and Mason Henry followed with a scoreless frame as the Hornets rolled. Carr struck out four and walked two, while Henry struck out two and allowed one hit. The Hornets scored four or more runs in each of the first three innings with Colby Wort going 3 for 3 with two doubles and three runs scored. Eathan Howell went 2 for 2 with two doubles and five RBIs, while Will Groesch and Henry each had two hits. Carr belted a three-run home run. Brown County is 8-0 overall.

At Pittsfield, Ill.

Beardstown 7, Pittsfield 0: Scoreless through five innings, the Tigers erupted for all seven of their runs in the top of the sixth, getting two-run doubles from Owen Quigley and Jacob Pate. Nate Scranton, Nolan Daniel and Brennan Tomhave each had a single for Pittsfield, which was held to three hits by Beardstown’s William Davidsmeier, who struck out 11. Scranton struck out seven and allowed five earned runs in suffering the loss. The Saukees are 9-2 overall.

At Phil Bradley Field, Macomb, Ill.

Southeastern 11, Macomb 7: The Suns in each of the first six innings and Ramsey Fry went 2 for 4 with a double and four RBIs to help secure the victory. Kyle O’Neal, Jarrett Van Beck and Aundre Roberts had two hits apiece for Southeastern. Fry pitched the first four innings to earn the victory, allowing four runs and seven hits with four strikeouts.

At Camp Point, Ill.

Central 10, Western 0: Katie Hildebrand tossed a two-hit shutout while striking out seven and walking none as the Panthers secured their sixth straight victory. The Panthers scored five runs in the first inning, highlighted by Macie Reuschel’s two-run single and plated runs in five of the six innings. Reuschel finished 3 for 4, while Carlie Goehl and Karly Peters each had two hits for Central.
