At Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club, Bolivar, Mo.
Class 1 state tournament: Palmyra senior Mallory Comstock became the first golfer in program history to earn a state medal, finishing tied for 13th after the 36-hole event. Comstock improved eight strokes during Tuesday’s second round, shooting a 96. She finished with a two-day total of 200. Summit Christian’s Lilli Stallings won the championship with a 186.
Palmyra’s Mallory Sublette tied for 35th with a 210, and Ella Goldinger finished 41st with a 212.
Boys Soccer
At Fulton, Mo.
Hannibal 3, Fulton 0: The Pirates inched closer to a North Central Missouri Conference title, upending the Tigers and improving to 8-1 in league play. Hannibal wraps up NCMC play at 11 a.m. Saturday against Marshall. Colton Dryden scored two goals for the Pirates, and Parker Terrill recorded the shutout. The Pirates are 13-6-1 overall.
Girls Volleyball
At Korf Gym, Hannibal, Mo.
Hannibal d. Kirksville: Bella Falconer and Kate Maune each had 15 kills as the Pirates wrapped up the North Central Missouri Conference championship with a 20-25, 25-12, 25-19, 25-18 victory. Falconer also had 18 digs and an ace. Annie Wagner had 26 digs, while Nora Hark finished with 27 assists, 24 digs and three aces.The Pirates are 17-8-4.
At Winchester, Ill.
Brown County d. Winchester West Central: The Hornets improved to 9-0 in the Western Illinois Valley Conference with a 25-17, 25-13 victory. Katey Flynn had eight kills and nine digs, while Klare Flynn finished with six kills and four digs. The Hornets are 27-3 overall.
Women’s Volleyball
At Lamoni, Iowa
Culver-Stockton College d. Graceland: Madison McClain recorded a double-double as the Wildcats kept the Yellowjackets winless in the Heart of America Athletic Conference with a 25-14, 25-15, 17-25, 25-13. McClain finished with 12 kills and 14 digs, while Maddy Logan had 16 assists. The Wildcats are 8-16 overall and 4-9 in the Heart.
