At Rock Island, Ill.

Quincy High School 4, Rock Island 1:  The Blue Devils snared the lead on Rian Moore’s goal with 11 minutes remaining in the first half and built a four-goal advantage in the second half to finish the Western Big 6 Conference season with a 7-0 record. Taylor Routh, who had the assist on Moore’s goal, scored three minutes into the second half off a Lilly Schuette assist. Bri Lannerd scored QHS’s third goal, and Routh scored an unassisted goal to cap the WB6 title chase. The Blue Devils are 11-6-1 overall.

At Mount Sterling, Ill.

Brown County 7, Greenfield/Northwestern 3: The Hornets had an answer for Monday’s loss to Quincy Notre Dame and the Tigers’ three-run sixth inning. Ahead 5-0 before Greenfield’s uprising, the Hornets responded with two runs in the bottom of the frame to seal the victory. Will Groesch had a run-scoring sacrifice fly and Eathan Howell followed with an RBI double for Brown County in the sixth. Gabe Blakeley went 2 for 3 with a double, a home run and three RBIs, while Sam Carr and Mason Henry had two hits apiece for the Hornets, who are 21-2.

At Clemens Field, Hannibal, Mo.

Hannibal 6, Clark County 4: After allowing the Indians to tie the game at 4 in the top of the sixth, the Pirates scored twice in the bottom of the frame and Pirates reliever Kane Wilson retired Clark County in order in the top of the seventh. Keaton Scott led off the sixth for the Pirates with a single, and one out later, he scored on Wilson’s double. After Wilson stole third, he scored on Tanner VanWinkle’s groundout. Scott finished 3 for 3, while Aaris Stolte had two hits and Wilson had two hits and three RBIs.

At The Backyard, Quincy

Quincy Notre Dame 17, Southeastern 2: The Raiders scored 14 runs in the first inning of a three-inning game. The first 13 batters reached safely for QND with Eryn Cornwell and Abbey Schreacke delivering back-to-back RBI doubles to get the scoring started. Alyssa Ley had a two-run triple in her first at-bat of the inning and a two-run home run in her second at-bat. Haley Schertel went 3 for 3 with two runs scored and two RBIs, while Cornwell, Schreacke, Ley and Brooke Boden each finished with two hits. QND is 18-5 overall.
