Another bases loaded walk made it 7-0, and Markert’s RBI single pushed it to 8-0. Cyrah Dunlap followed with a bases-clearing double. Grace Groesch and Katey Flynn delivered RBI singles to cap the frame. Markert and Groesch both went 3 for 3 as the Hornets piled up 17 hits. Taryn Moorman allowed just three hits and struck out three to earn the victory. Brown County (28-1) will play for a regional championship at 2 p.m. Saturday against either Payson Seymour or Western.
