South Shelby 50, Mark Twain 47: Jaaron Durbin’s 3-pointer at the buzzer pushed the fourth-seeded Cardinals into a semifinal matchup with top-seeded Monroe City on Thursday. Durbin led the Cardinals with 15 points, while Trey Countryman added 12. LaKoda Preston led the Tigers with 17 points, while Josh Brothers added 15.

Highland 69, Clark County 46: Limited to seven points in the first quarter, the third-seeded Cougars responded with 24 points in the second quarter and 22 in the third to reach the semifinals against second-seeded Palmyra. Highland went 27 of 30 from the free-throw line, while Clark County was 5 of 8. Alex Meyer led the Cougars with 22 points, while Drew Mallett added 13.

At Korf Gym, Hannibal, Mo.

Mexico 76, Hannibal 57: The third-ranked Bulldogs led 23-7 at the end of the first and controlled the North Central Missouri Conference matchup, which was the regular-season finale. Aaris Stolte made seven 3-pointers and scored 27 points for the Pirates, who are 9-15.
