Liberty 53, Illini West 45: The Eagles improved to 8-1 as Cannen Wolf scored 12 points and Tenhouse added 10. Nolan Deitrich led the Chargers, who are 7-3, with 23 points.
At Rushville, Ill.
Payson Seymour 73, Rushville-Industry 46: Bryan Dieker scored 18 points to power the Indians. Aidan Perry added 15 points, and Riker Triplett scored 12 as the Indians improved to 5-3.
At Student Activity Center, Quincy
Clopton 49, Unity 43: Tyler Kuntz scored 23 points to lead the Hawks to the victory in the Rumble on the River. Cody Shaffer led the Mustangs with 15 points.
At Concord, Ill.
Triopia 66, Western 45: Casen Tobias scored 24 points for the Wildcats, but it wasn’t enough to offset 18 points from the Trojans’ Ryan Snow and Triopia’s strong start.

At QHS gym, Quincy
Alton 45, Quincy High School 33: The Blue Devils put themselves in a bind by committing 14 first-half turnovers and squandering an opportunity to take the lead into halftime. Trailing 22-18 at the half, the Blue Devils scored just five points in the third quarter and trailed throughout the second half. Taylor Fohey led Quincy with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Asia Seangmany added 12 points. The Blue Devils are 6-4.
At Student Activity Center, Quincy
Unity 81, Clopton 31: The Mustangs improved to 10-1 with the decisive victory in the Rumble on the River. Ashlynn Arnsman led Unity with 15 points, while Braya Smith led Clopton with 11 points.
At Bluffs, Ill.
Brown County 59, Winchester West Central 15: The Hornets outscored the Cougars 19-2 in the first quarter. Katey Flynn led Brown County with 13 points, while Klare Flynn added 12 points and Gabby McGath scored 11 points.
At Montgomery City, Mo.
Montgomery County 41, Monroe City 27: The Panthers were outscored 17-3 in the third quarter as they dropped to 1-8. Mari Gares led Monroe City with 12 points.
