Hannibal 73, Highland 40: A 13-point halftime cushion turned into a rout as the Pirates’ 3-point barrage carried them into Saturday night’s championship game against top-seeded Monroe City. Hannibal made four 3-pointers in the third quarter and 11 treys overall. Aaris Stolte finished with 24 points, making six 3-pointers. The Pirates’ Courtland Watson had three 3-pointers and 15 points. Drew Mallett led the Cougars with 16 points.

At Voshall Gym, Pittsfield, Ill.

Pittsfield 53, Louisiana 46: The Saukees withstood the Bulldogs’ barrage with balanced scoring down the stretch as six different Pittsfield players scored in the 19-point fourth quarter. Nate Scranton led the Saukees with 17 points, while Carter Klatt had 14. Mason Washington and Jack Logan combined for 16 points in the fourth quarter. Logan finished with 23 points and Washington had 17.

At Carthage, Ill.

At Rock Island, Ill.

Alleman 53, Quincy High School 37: The Blue Devils scored 12 points in the first quarter and held a three-point lead, but the offense bogged down and resulted in a Western Big 6 Conference loss. The Pioneers went 10 of 10 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter and 16 of 19 overall to keep the Blue Devils at bay. Taylor Fohey and Asia Seangmany led Quincy (6-8, 3-6 WB6) with 13 points apiece.

At Mount Sterling, Ill.

Brown County 59, Rushville-Industry 24: The Hornets put the game away quickly, outscoring the Rockets 24-2 in the first quarter. Klare Flynn had nine points and Gabby McGath had eight in the opening salvo. Flynn finished with 17 points and McGath had 10.

At Palmyra, Mo.

Tony Lenzini Invitational

Canton 59, Clark County 39: After scoring just seven points in the first quarter, the Tigers erupted for 19 points in each of the middle quarters and rolled into Saturday’s championship against top-seeded Palmyra. Nariah Clay led Canton with 21 points, making 6 of 7 free throws in the second half. Alexis Ellison led the Indians with 17 points.

Monroe City 48, Hannibal 43: The Panthers went 12 of 18 from the free-throw line in overtime to earn the victory in the consolation bracket. Five different players made free throws as Monroe City finished 16 of 27 from the line. Mackenzie Moss led the Panthers with 17 points. Jade Thomas had 17 points for the Pirates.

At Ralph Nolan Gym, Atchison, Kan.

Benedictine 75, Culver-Stockton College 66: The Wildcats fell behind by 10 points at halftime, saw the deficit grow to 15 and rallied to tie the game at 59 with 6:18 to play. However, they never took the lead and went 1 of 10 from the field down the stretch to suffer the Heart of America Athletic Conference loss. Jalen Blaize led C-SC with 15 points and Javon Modester added 11 points. The Wildcats fell to 13-6 overall and 4-6 in the Heart.

At Ralph Nolan Gym, Atchison, Kan.

Benedictine 72, Culver-Stockton College 57: The Wildcats were outscored 23-7 in the first quarter and never recovered in the Heart of America Athletic Conference loss. Lake Hugenberg scored a career-high 25 points off the bench for C-SC, but the starters went a combined 9 of 27 from the field and the Wildcats committed 23 turnovers overall. C-SC falls to 9-10 overall and 3-7 in the Heart.
