At Rushville, Ill.

Central 79, Rushville-Industry 57: Panthers junior forward Isaac Genenbacher proved unstoppable in the post, scoring nine points in the pivotal second quarter. Central outscored Rushville 21-9 in the second quarter and maintained the double digit lead the remainder of the game. Genenbacher finished with a career-high 33 points without a single 3-pointer. Breyhar Wiskirchen added 19 points and Nick Moore scored 12 for the Panthers.

At Palmyra, Mo.

Palmyra 51, Bowling Green 45: Stingy fourth-quarter defense and Bear Bock’s double-double powered the Panthers to the non-conference victory. Palmyra trailed by a point at the end of the third quarter before limiting Bowling Green to three points over the final eight minutes. Bock finished with 17 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and three steals, while teammate Alex Loman had 11 points. Palmyra is 13-10 overall.

Quincy Notre Dame 72, Liberty 22: The No. 1-ranked Raiders wrapped up their West Central Conference schedule with a whitewashing of the Eagles. Abbey Schreacke led the Raiders with 20 points, while Blair Eftink had 13 points and Sage Stratton added 12. The Raiders are 23-3 heading into Friday’s regular-season finale at Jefferson City (Mo.) Helias.

At Camp Point, Ill.

Central-Southeastern 48, Unity 44: The Panthers are primed to make the Class 2A postseason miserable anyone in their path after upending the Mustangs, ranked fourth in Class 1A. Karly Peters parked C-SE’s fourth quarter rally, making three 3-pointers as the Panthers outscored the Mustangs 17-9 over the final eight minutes. Lauren Miller led the Panthers with 14 points, including eight in the second half. Ashlynn Arnsman led Unity with 11 points, while Kyra Carothers and Sophia Shaffer had 10 apiece. However, those three were limited to two points combined in the fourth quarter.

At Table Grove, Ill.

Brown County 61, South Fulton 20: The Hornets put the stamp on an incredible regular season with the road victory. A 25-6 second quarter outburst created a 24-point halftime advantage for the Hornets, ranked sixth in Class 1A. Klare Flynn scored 13 of her game-high 21 points in the second quarter. Ashlee Markert added nine points as Brown County improved to 28-5.

At Palmyra, Mo.

Palmyra 60, Bowling Green 28: A dominant defensive effort and balanced scoring are the hallmarks of the Panthers’ success. Palmyra opened the game on an 11-1 run and outscored Bowling Green 23-4 in the first quarter. Clare Williams led the Panthers with 15 points, while Candra King and Sydney Compton each had 11 points. Palmyra is 16-7 overall.
