Hannibal 48, Mexico 21: The Pirates raced to a 21-0 lead and never led by less than two touchdowns in handing the Bulldogs their first loss. AJ Thomas rushed for 204 yards and scored two touchdowns. Courtland Watson threw two touchdown passes to Kaiser Greenwell and Aneyas Williams rushed for a pair of scores for Hannibal (5-0) in a North Central Missouri Conference game.

Monroe City 18, Palmyra 13: Monroe City (5-0) won the Mayor’s Cup and snapped a three-game losing streak to Palmyra. Ceaton Pennewell had a 1-yard TD run, Joshua Talton had a 2-yard scoring run and Kyle Hays threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Deion White for Monroe City’s scores. Collin Arch had touchdown runs of seven and 10 yards for Palmyra (2-3).

Beardstown 21, Brown County 6: The Tigers scored three first-half touchdowns and knocked the Hornets from the ranks of the unbeaten.

Unity-Payson 14, Triopia 13: Ryle Duke passed for an 11-yard touchdown to Cecil Hunt and ran for a 12-yard touchdown for the Mustangs. Triopia had a chance to tie the game with 19.9 seconds left in the fourth quarter after Brayden Booth’s 9-yard touchdown run, but the 2-point conversion run failed. Duke threw for 194 yards, and the Mustangs outgained Triopia 291-148. Bryan Dieker had 13 tackles and a fumble recovery for Unity.

North Mac 48, Pittsfield 2: North Mac led 26-0 at halftime, had the turbo clock started midway through the third quarter and rolled to an easy victory.

Highland 24, South Shelby 8: The score was tied 8-8 after one quarter, and it remained that way until the Cougars scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to win a Clarence Cannon Conference game and improve to 4-1.
