Payson Seymour 66, Pleasant Hill 19: Aidan Perry scored 12 of his 15 points in the second quarter as the Indians built a 38-13 lead by halftime. Bryan Dieker added 14 points for Payson, while Bryan Pults led the Wolves with eight points.

Winchester West Central 62, Griggsville-Perry 38: The Cougars outscored the Tornadoes 16-5 in the first quarter and rolled in the quarterfinals. Tate Kunzeman led Griggsville-Perry with 15 points, while Wyatt Lipcaman added 11 points.

Brown County 62, Western 17: The Hornets limited the Wildcats to two points in the second quarter and none in the third quarter. Sam Carr led Brown County with 12 points, while Colby Wort added 10.

At Clarksville, Mo.

Clopton Invitational

Monroe City 72, Winfield 54: The Panthers won the tournament championship with senior guard Josiah Talton being named MVP after he scored 28 points. Joshua Talton added 18 points.

At Ewing, Mo.

Highland Tournament

Palmyra 54, Highland 49: Alex Loman led the Panthers with 15 points as they won the third-place game. Bear Bock added 13 points and Adam Goodwin chipped in with 10, while Mason Roberts grabbed 12 rebounds. Palmyra is 6-6 overall.

Breese Central PAWS Shootout

O’Fallon 72, Quincy Notre Dame 42: The Raiders saw their 13-game win streak come to an abrupt halt as they were outscored 35-16 in the second half. Blair Eftink led the Raiders, ranked second in Class 2A, with 12 points.

Highland Tournament

Palmyra 54, Scotland County 37: The Panthers took third place with three players scoring in double figures. Candra King and Clare Williams led Palmyra with 12 points, while Taytum White added 11 points. Sydney Compton chipped in with eight points for Palmyra.

North Central Missouri 85, John Wood Community College 73: The Trail Blazers suffered their third straight loss, getting outscored by 19 points in the second half. Jarvis Jennings led JWCC with 21 points. The Trail Blazers are 10-7 overall.

At Puckett Fieldhouse, Fayette, Mo.

Central Methodist 95, Culver-Stockton College 85: The Wildcats trailed by as many 21 points in the second half against the No. 20 Eagles and couldn’t cut the deficit to single digits until 34 seconds remained in regulation of the Heart of America Athletic Conference game. Alonzo Ortiz-Traylor led C-SC with 21 points, while Jalen Blaize added 19 points. The Wildcats are 11-5 overall and 2-5 in the Heart.

John Wood Community College 84, Missouri Baptist 47: McKenna Little led the Trail Blazers with 20 points, and Lenlee Klusman added 15 points. JWCC improved to 6-8 overall.

At Puckett Fieldhouse, Fayette, Mo.

Central Methodist 68, Culver-Stockton College 41: Trailing by six at the end of the first quarter, the Wildcats’ offense went dormant in the middle two frames, scoring just 11 points in that stretch to suffer the Heart of America Athletic Conference loss to the No. 14 Eagles. The Wildcats shot just 21.5 percent from the field and had no one reach double digits. C-SC is 8-8 overall and 2-5 in the Heart.
