Quincy Notre Dame 59, Bloomington Central Catholic 29: Coming off the two-point victory over third-ranked Illini West, the No. 2 Raiders showcased their dominance. Abbey Schreacke led QND with 20 points, while Sage Stratton added 14 points as the Raiders improved to 18-1.

At Mary Miller Gym, Danville, Ill.

John Wood Community College 62, Danville 51: The Trail Blazers handed the 19th-ranked Jaguars their first loss since November with the Mid-West Athletic Conference victory. Jensen Whiteman led the Trail Blazers with 14 points. JWCC coach Brad Hoyt called it a “really good, gutsy win.” The Trail Blazers are 13-8 overall and 2-1 in the MWAC.

At Breckon Sports Center, Parkville, Mo.

Park 83, Culver-Stockton College 72: The Pirates’ lead bounced between six and 12 points for a majority of the second half before a late surge led to enough cushion to cement the Heart of America Athletic Conference victory. The Wildcats went just 4 of 17 from 3-point range. Alonzo Ortiz-Traylor led C-SC with 17 points, while Quintin Wallace had 14 points and seven rebounds. The Wildcats are 13-7 overall and 4-7 in the heart.

Women’s basketball

At the Mark Twain Building, St. Louis

Missouri-St. Louis 58, Quincy University 37: The Hawks scored just 13 points in the first half and trailed by 17 points at halftime in the Great Lakes Valley Conference loss. The Hawks were 5 of 18 from the field in the first half. Beth Matas Martin led Quincy with 15 points. The Hawks had just five assists against 20 turnovers. The Hawks are 6-12 overall and 2-8 in the GLVC.

At Breckon Sports Center, Parkville, Mo.

Culver-Stockton College 58, Park 50: The Wildcats took control by limiting the Pirates to nine points in the first quarter of the Heart of America Athletic Conference tilt. They maintained the edge by going 14 of 18 from the free-throw line in the second half, including 11 of 14 in the fourth quarter. The victory ended C-SC’s five-game road losing streak. Aaliyah Ortiz led the Wildcats with 16 points, while Addison Newbon had 15 points and 14 rebounds.
