At Advance Physical Therapy Field, Quincy

Quincy Notre Dame 6, Sacred Heart-Griffin 1: The Raiders improved to 8-2-3 as Tanner Anderson recorded a hat trick and Ben Frericks scored on a 25-yard blast for the Raiders’ first goal. Jake Hoyt and Logan Zanger also scored for QND.

Girls Volleyball

At Mendon, Ill.

Southeastern d. Unity: The Suns improved to 17-0 with the 25-19, 25-21 victory. Kyra Carothers led the Mustangs with 12 kills, while Caroline Knox added 10 kills. Amanda Stephens had 13 kills for the Suns, and Ani Kerr dished out 25 assists.

At Mount Sterling, Ill.

Brown County d. Liberty: Klare Flynn, Grace Hedden and Ashlee Markert each had four kills, while Gabby McGath had three aces as the Hornets improved to 11-2 with the 25-14, 25-14 victory.

Girls Tennis

At Reservoir Park, Quincy

Quincy High School 6, Springfield 3: The Blue Devils won their fourth straight dual as Lily and Pheobe Hayes at No. 1 doubles and Audra Cain and Amelia Willing at No. 2 doubles both posted 8-2 victories. Willing also picked up a tiebreaker victory at No. 4 singles.

At Palmyra, Mo.

Hannibal 8, Palmyra 1: The Pirates won five singles matches and then won two nip-and-tuck doubles matches as part of the dual victory. The team of Emma Haner and Gracie Martin won 9-7 at No. 1 doubles, while the No. 2 squad of Ireland Lomax and Brooklyn Haye won 9-8 with a 7-3 tiebreaker.

Girls Golf

At Deer Run Golf Course, Hamilton, Ill.

Quincy Notre Dame d. West Hancock: The Raiders shot a 187 to distance themselves from the Titans (214). Olivia Hummel and Balir Eftink each shot a 44 to lead QND.

Prep Softball

At Kirksville, Mo.

Kirksville 11, Hannibal 1: The Tigers scored three times in the first inning and five times in the sixth to put away the North Central Missouri Conference victory. Chloe Simms doubled and scored the Pirates’ lone run.

At Monroe City, Mo.

Monroe City 9, Centralia 8: Four runs in the fifth inning and three more in the sixth allowed Monroe City to rally for the Clarence Cannon Conference victory. Mackenzie Moss’ three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth won the game. Moss finished 2 for 4 with two runs scored and five RBIs, while Monroe City’s Carly Youngblood went 2 for 3 with three runs scored, a double and a home run.

At Canton, Mo.

Highland 3, Canton 1: The Cougars’ Payton Miller limited the Tigers to three hits, while striking out seven and walking two in the Lewis County battle. Emma Harschberger had two hits for Highland, while Haleigh Winter added a double.
