Quincy High School 7, Rock Island Alleman 0: The Blue Devils wrapped up the Western Big 6 Conference championship with the whitewashing of the Pioneers. Carter Venvertloh and Andrew Brown each scored twice, while Biruk Rosen, Blake Bunch and Boen Brockmiller each had a goal. Spencer Jenkins had two assists, while Venvertloh, Brown and Adrian Blattner also had assists. Quincy finished 6-1 in WB6 play and is 11-8-3 overall.
Girls Volleyball
At Carthage, Ill.
Hannibal d. Illini West: Bella Falconer had nine kills and seven digs and Kate Maune had six kills and seven digs as the Pirates won 25-17, 26-24. Ashlynn Hess had 11 assists, while Annie Wagner had seven digs for the Pirates.
