At Springfield, Ill.
Quincy Notre Dame 1, Springfield 0: The Raiders rebounded from a pair of losses in a tournament in Burlington, Iowa, last Saturday with a stingy defensive effort against the Senators. QND grabbed the lead with less than eight minutes remaining in the first half as freshman Makalya Patton ran onto a pass from Annie Eaton near midfield and outran the defense to beat the keeper for the game. Raiders goalkeepers Aly Young and Addison Van Hecke combined for the shutout. QND is 13-3-3 overall.

At The Backyard, Quincy
Quincy Notre Dame 13, Liberty 2: Trailing 2-0 heading to the bottom of the third inning, the Raiders erupted for four runs in the frame and six more in the fourth inning to snare the victory. Caitlin Bunte had a two-run single in the third and Haley Schertel followed with a run-scoring triple. In the fourth, Lindsey Fischer had an RBI double and Abbey Schreacke added a two-run single. Bunte, Schertel, Fischer, Eryn Cornwell and Laela Hernandez-Jones each had two hits for QND (17-5). Liberty collected five singles with Jacie Blair and Tiffanie Will scoring runs.
At Pleasant Hill, Ill.
Brown County 2, Pleasant Hill 1: The Hornets were forced to score single runs in the fifth and sixth innings to erase a one-run deficit and stay unbeaten at 23-0. In the fifth, Ashlee Markert and Cyrah Dunlap led off with back-to-back singles, and Markert scored on Brooke Garthaus’ single. In the sixth, Katey Flynn reached on an error leading off, went to third on a sacrifice and scored on another error. The Wolves got a runner on base in each of the final two innings, but Taryn Moorman snuffed out any rally. Moorman allowed one unearned run and six hits, while striking out five and walking none to earn the victory. Paige Wombles struck out eight and allowed six hits in taking the loss for the Wolves.
At Mendon, Ill.
Central 7, Unity 5: A five-run first inning gave the Panthers control. They loaded the bases with a Karlee Marlow walk and back-to-back singles by Katie Hildebrand and Carlie Goehl. A sacrifice fly by Macie Reuschel, an error and a Libby Ippensen triple plated the first three runs. An error and a passed ball allowed the other two runs to score. Goehl finished 3 for 4, while Hildebrand and Ippensen each had two hits. Taylor Goudschaal had two hits for the Mustangs.

At Beardstown, Ill.
Beardstown 10, Pittsfield 0: The Tigers scored twice in the first and third innings and ended the game with a five-run fifth inning. Will Davidsmeier held the Saukees to one hit as he struck out 12 and walked none. TJ Reel’s double was the Saukees’ lone hit. Konner Allen suffered the loss, allowing four runs in three innings. The Saukees are 17-5.
At Rushville, Ill.
Unity 1, Rushville-Industry 0: Bryson Muegge and Cody Shaffer combined to shut out the Rockets. Muegge worked four innings, while allowing three hits with two strikeouts. Shaffer tossed the final three innings, allowing two hits with five strikeouts. Gavin Koenig drove in the winning run for the Mustangs in the fourth inning. Unity has won four of its last five games.
At Veterans Field, Hannibal, Mo.
Hannibal 9, Bowling Green 1: A four-run first inning put the Pirates in the driver’s seat and gave Aaris Stolte all the run support he would need. Stolte struck out seven and walked none, while allowing one run and eight hits in the complete-game victory. The Pirates had just two hits, but took advantage of eight walks, one hit batter and five errors. The Pirates are 13-10 overall.
At Flower City Park, Palmyra, Mo.
Palmyra 11, Liberty 7: A seven-run uprising in the fourth inning catapulted the Panthers to the victory. Landyn Smith went 2 for 4 with two doubles for Palmyra, while Adam Goodwin and Alex Loman both had two hits and two RBIs. Logan Robbins went 2 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs for the Eagles.
At LaHarpe, Ill.
Monmouth United 11, Illini West 3: The Chargers allowed four runs in the top of the first inning and two more in the top of the second and never recovered. Ethan James and Bradyn Robertson each homered for the Chargers, while Robertson drove in two runs.
