Liberty 55, Carrollton 41: The Eagles’ balanced attack and second-quarter spurt carried them into the tournament semifinals. Leading by three after the first quarter, Liberty outscored Carrollton 17-6 in the second quarter with five different players scoring. Cannen Wolf led the Eagles with 14 points, while Logan Robbins added 12.

At Hamilton, Ill.

Hancock County Tournament

Southeastern 76, Unity 50: Ramsey Fry scored a game-high 37 points to lead the Suns in their tournament opener. Ryle Duke led the Mustangs with 16 points.

West Hancock 45, Keokuk 38: The Titans went 17 of 21 from the free-throw line, while the Chiefs made just 4 of 17 free throws. Colin LeMaire led the Titans with 15 points.

Girls Basketball

At Camp Point, Ill.

CSE Classic

Lewistown 43, Liberty 21: The Eagles led 5-2 after the first quarter, but the Indians responded by outsourcing them 12-4 in the second quarter to take a lead they’d never relinquish. The Eagles scored just four points in the third quarter without a field goal. Jacie Blair led the Eagles with eight points.

West Hancock 54, South Fulton 47: The Titans went on a 15-6 run in the second quarter to seize the lead. Lillie Woodworth led the Titans with 23 points, while Bailey Barber added 17 points.

Prep Wrestling

At Korf Gym, Hannibal, Mo.

Hannibal 59, Palmyra 9: The Pirates dominated the lower weights. Reign Creech (106 pounds) won by pin in 3:09. Tristen Essig (113) scored a technical fall. Cody Culp (126) scored a pin in 1:00. Peyton Elliott (138) needed 1:21 for a pin.Palmyra’s Collin Arch picked a pin at 145 in 1:14.
