Petersburg PORTA/AC-Central 51, Brown County 44: The Hornets made it a three-point game in the final minute, but the Bluejays hit four free throws down the stretch to seal the victory in the semifinals. Second-seeded PORTA will face top-seeded Liberty in the championship at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The Hornets scored 18 points in the fourth quarter to keep it close. Cole Behymer led Brown County with 12 points.

Winchester West Central 73, Payson Seymour 63: A 29-point first quarter buoyed by 15 points from Zach Evans carried the Cougars to the victory. Evans finished with 31 points as West Central went 29 of 36 from the free-throw line. Down 22 points at halftime, the Indians made a second-half run but couldn’t get close enough to make the Cougars sweat. Bryan Dieker led Payson with 23 points and Riker Triplett added 17.
