At St. Charles, Mo.

Orchard Farms 2, Quincy Notre Dame 0: The Raiders suffered their first loss of the season and were shut out for the third time. The Eagles, who have won four straight games since a season-opening loss, grabbed the lead with a goal in the 29th minute. They doubled their advantage by converting a penalty kick with seven minutes remaining in regulation. The Raiders are 5-1-3 overall.

At Clemens Field, Hannibal, Mo.

Fulton 2, Hannibal 1: An error, two walks and a sacrifice resulted in the Hornets scoring two runs in the top of the third inning and making the lead last in a North Central Missouri Conference game. The Pirates scratched a run back in the fourth when Ryan Ross’ two-out double plated Alex Friday. However, they had only one hit the final three innings. Tanner VanWinkle suffered the loss, allowing two unearned runs and six hits with two strikeouts.

At Nauvoo, Ill.

West Hancock 10, Illini West 2: The Titans scored four runs in the bottom of the first and capitalized on five errors by the Chargers overall. Colin LeMaire went 3 for 4 with a double for the Titans, while Gage Scott went 2 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Andrew Harness earned the victory, striking out 10 and walking three over five innings. Colby Robertson and Tanner Freeman had two hits apiece for the Chargers.

At Brennan Field, Romeoville, Ill.

Lewis 8, Quincy University 7: Trailing throughout after allowing three runs in the bottom of the first inning, the Hawks nearly rallied to force extra innings in the opening game of their Great Lakes Valley Conference series. In the top of the ninth, Nolan Wosman singled with two out and Brock Boynton was hit by a pitch. Both runners advanced on a passed ball before Luke Napleton walked. Another wild pitch allowed Wosman to score and the other runners to move up. However, a groundout ended the rally. Wosman went 5 for 5 with a double, a home run, five runs scored and three RBIs.Joe Roscetti had two hits, while the top four in the order combined to go 1 for 20. Spencer Walker suffered his first loss of the season, allowing four earned runs in four innings. The Hawks committed four errors. Quincy is 14-13 overall and 5-4 in the GLVC.
