GALESBURG, Ill. — If the individual leaderboard is any indication of where the Quincy High School boys golf team is headed, it will be back toward the top of the Western Big 6 Conference heap in the coming years.

A pair of Blue Devils finished in the top 12, earning second-team all-conference in process, as QHS took fourth as a team in the WB6 championships held Tuesday at Bunker Links Golf Course.

Moline posted a 305 to capture its first title since 2011 and first outright conference crown since 1998. Geneseo was second at 315, followed by Galesburg at 317 and Quincy at 319.

QHS freshman Issa Geisendorfer finished seventh individually with a 5-over 76, while sophomore Sam Cory posted a 7-over 78 to finish 11th. Galesburg senior Jason Runbom earned medalist honors, shooting a 4-under 67 on his home course.
