QUINCY — To the winner go the spoils.

So it’s only fitting the Quincy High School girls soccer team landed the most players of any program on the All-Western Big 6 Conference teams.

The Blue Devils placed three on the first team, two on the second team and five on honorable mention after they went 7-0 in conference play.

Making the All-WB6 first team were sophomore midfielders Bri Lannerd and Rian Moore and sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Fohey. Lannerd had eight goals and eight assists in WB6 play, while Moore had four goals and 11 assists. Fohey had five shutouts and allowed only two goals.

Sophomore forward Taylor Routh, who also scored eight goals in league action, and freshman midfielder Sydney Welsh both were on the second team.

Receiving honorable mention were junior defenders Maddie O’Brien, Anna Morrison, Ava Soltwedel and Mariah Crist, and junior forward Breighlyn Thomas.

Moline forward Caroline Hazen, who led the league with 11 goals, was named the WB6 MVP.
