Quincy University men’s basketball program announces upcoming camps for summer 2023


The Quincy University men's basketball program will offer three camps this summer: a high school team camp, a kids camp and an elite camp.

QUINCY — The Quincy University men’s basketball program will be the host of a camp on June 9-10 for high school varsity and junior varsity teams. Cost is $350 per team for five games inside the Quincy University Health and Fitness Center. To register, contact Troy Potts at pottstr@quincy.edu or 217-440-0019.

The Hawks basketball program will also be the host of a summer kids camp from June 19-22. This is a camp geared to improving the basic fundamental skills of the campers, including shooting, passing, finishing and defense. A session for grades K-4 will be from 10-11:30 a.m. A session for grades 5-8 will run from 1-4 p.m. Campers will receive a T-shirt at the conclusion of camp. The program will host its elite camp on Sunday, Aug. 6. This is a showcase for incoming high school seniors and juniors to perform in front of the Quincy University men’s basketball coaching staff.
