METAMORA, Ill. — The Quincy St. Peter girls golf team finished second at the Illinois Elementary School Association state tournament Thursday, posting a 381 total at Metamora Fields Golf Course.

Downs Tri-Valley won the team title with a 353, while Champaign St. Matthew was third at 399.

Quincy St. Peter’s Ari Brock and Olivia Scholz finished tied for 19th individually as they both carded an 89. Carthage’s Charlie Wisehart also tied for 19th with an 89. Macomb’s Taylor Mann tied for 26th with a 92. Quincy Junior High School’s Elise Snider was 32nd with a 94.

Other scores for Quincy St. Peter included Ida Hermesmeier with a 100 and Hannah Russel with a 103.
