QUINCY — A three-pronged attack proved to be better than one dominant force.

Despite getting 25 points from senior forward Jevon Porter, Columbia Father Tolton couldn’t put the clamps on Berkmar (Ga.) as the Patriots had three players score in double figures in a 60-58 victory in the Quincy Shootout.

Bryce Blaine buried a 3-pointer and went 3 of 4 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter, finishing with 21 points to help Berkmar hold on. Malique Ewin finished with 17 points and Jameel Rideout added 11.

Father Tolton, which is coached by former Quincy High School two-sport athlete Jeremy Osborne, led until the fourth quarter. Porter was the only one in double figures for the Trailblazers.
