QUINCY — The Quincy Notre Dame girls soccer team is primed for the postseason.

The Raiders picked up their third straight victory in their regular-season finale Friday at Advance Physical Therapy, using two early goals from Lia Quintero to kickstart a 6-0 victory over Burlington Notre Dame.

QND (16-3-3) opens the postseason at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Class 1A QND Regional against eighth-seeded Springfield Lutheran.

Quintero got the Raiders rolling just 2 minutes, 5 seconds into the game when she curled a corner kick from the left corner into the net for a 1-0 lead. A little more than two minutes later, Quintero gathered a loose ball and buried a shot into the side netting for a 2-0 advantage.

Annie Eaton finished a Quintero cross with 17 minutes remaining in the first half to make it 3-0, an advantage the Raiders carried to halftime.

In the second half, Makayla Patton scored twice, the first after getting in behind the defense and the second off a flip throw from Avery Keck. Sage Stratton added the final goal, hitting a shot from nearly 30 yards out that dipped under the crossbar.

Addison Van Hecke and Aly Young combined on the shutout.
