ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — Anna Schuering’s reign over the distance races in the Western Big 6 Conference is complete.

Just like during cross country, no one was within sight of her at the finish line.

QHS freshman Anna Venvertloh won the 400 dash, finishing in 1:01.43, edging Geneseo’s Sierra Krueger by .05 seconds. She also took third in the high jump, clearing 1.47 meters.

Blue Devils freshman Sadiya Hodges was second in the long jump with a leap of 4.81 meters. Geneseo’s Annie Wirth won the title with a jump of 5.09 meters.
