QHS tennis team opens with solid play at Ottawa Night Light Invitational

OTTAWA, Ill. — The Quincy High School girls tennis team’s annual season opener under the lights produced three medalists and a fourth-place team finish at the Ottawa Night Light Invitational.
Sophomore Anika Reddy finished second at No. 1 singles, while senior Amelia Willing won the consolation title at No. 1 singles.
The Hayes sisters — Lily and Phoebe, who are seniors — finished third at No. 1 doubles.
The Blue Devils are scheduled to face Galesburg on Tuesday at the Greeman Tennis Center in Reservoir Park before playing six consecutive events on the road.
