SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The Quincy Notre Dame baseball team moved another step closer to reaching the state final four for just the third time in program history, beating previously undefeated Gillespie 5-0 to win the Class 2A Pleasant Plains Sectional championship.

The Raiders will face Bloomington Central Catholic at 5 p.m. Monday at Lincoln Land Community College’s Claude Kracik Field in the super-sectional.
