QUINCY — The No. 1-ranked team in the state isn’t showing any signs of taking it easy on anyone.

The Quincy High School boys basketball team — No. 1 in Class 4A — built a 22-point lead by halftime Saturday night and cruised to an 80-56 victory over Springfield at Blue Devil Gym. Quincy improved to 15-1 overall, completed a weekend sweep of home games and ran its all-time series lead against Springfield 55-27 dating back to the 1933-34 season.
