Mart Heinen Club to be host of 33rd annual John Funke Memorial Chili Cookoff
QUINCY — Quincy University’s Mart Heinen Athletic Booster Club will be the host of its 33rd annual John Funke Memorial Chili CookOff from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5, at the QU Health and Fitness Center, 19th and Oak.
The event is open to the public and features all-you-can-eat chili and soup tasting. Food tickets are $5 per person or $10 per family at the door. A cash bar will be available. Raffle tickets may be purchased.
The 21st annual Cash Bash tickets with $8,500 in prizes also will be available. Tickets are $50 each and include admission to the chili cookoff for two and four drink tickets. There are 21 chances to win cash, with a top top prize of $5,000 being awarded to one winner.
