QUINCY — Ben Kasparie didn’t need long to crush Marceline’s spirit.

After intercepting a pass deep in the Quincy Notre Dame football team’s territory and returning it to the Tigers’ 20-yard line in the first quarter of last Friday’s game at Advance Physical Therapy Field, Kasparie scored on a 5-yard run to give the Raiders a 7-0 lead.

Just 27 seconds later, Kasparie intercepted another pass from Tigers quarterback Jacob Stallo and returned it 27 yards for a touchdown. Two TDs in the span of 27 seconds set the tone for a 49-7 victory that improved the state-ranked Raiders to 3-0 for the first time since 2010.

The pick-6 by Kasparie is this week’s Liquor Booth Shot of the Game.
