Kroc Center offering chance to run through foam, bubbles in 5K run on Sept. 16
QUINCY — The Kroc Center is gearing up for the first Bubble Fun 5K run in partnership with NutritionHQ at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16.
Participants will walk or run through fluffy foam and bubbles in this family-friendly course. The race will start in the Kroc Center’s parking lot off Vermont Street and proceed through downtown Quincy. All proceeds support The Kroc Center’s youth recreational and fitness programs.
In a press release, race coordinator Kristen Obert said, “We are excited to invite the community to the Bubble Fun 5k Run. It is a fun way to stay active while making memories with friends and family.”
Those interested can register online at krocquincy.org/bubble-fun-5k-run or in person at the Kroc Center, 405 Vermont. Registration will be available during the race’s packet pick-up from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, at the Kroc Center. Check-in and late registration will be held the day of the race from 7:15-8:15 a.m.
