Knights of Columbus offering lessons for veterans, active duty military through PGA HOPE clinic

QUINCY — The Knights of Columbus, 700 S. 36th, is the site for interested veterans and active duty military to receive an introduction to golf through the PGA HOPE Clinic program. Instruction will be provided by lead professional Gideon Smith of the PGA from 2-3:30 p.m. on May 31, June 7 and June 14.

Adaptive golf equipment and instruction will be provided at no cost to participants. No prior experience is necessary for these lessons.

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE introduces the sport to veterans and active duty military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.
