Golf tournament on May 5 at Spring Lake Country Club to fund local heart care
QUINCY — Registration is underway for the Cardiac Classic golf tournament to benefit the Blessing Heart and Vascular Center.
The event will be held at Spring Lake Country Club on Friday, May 5, with sign-in from 8-9 a.m. The format is a 4-person scramble. Lunch will be provided. Cost is $300 per team.

The Cardiac Scramble was created by Craig Redmon, a former patient of the Blessing Heart and Vascular Center, and other friends and family of the late Raymond “Shocker” Schafer of LaGrange, Mo., to raise awareness of heart disease and support care provided by Blessing. Shocker died in 2018 as a result of heart disease.
